Présentation
Les frères Velasquez - Jonathan, chant et guitare + Eddie, batterie - ont créé leur premier groupe, The Revolts, en 2002 à Los Angeles où ils ont grandi. Découverts par Larry Clark qui leur a consacré le long-métrage Wassup Rockers, ils n'ont jamais cessé de jouer ensemble et se sont installés à Paris en 2014. Après avoir bataillé sous différentes formations, ils reviennent aujourd'hui au punk rock/blues originel émergeant de la musique qui les a animés : pur rock & roll, street punk et vibes west coast, de Chuck Berry à The Misfit's.
Leur nouveau groupe nait au printemps 2021 et intègre un bassiste français, Stéphane. Los Picos Chicos sont alors prêts à prendre la scène pour faire bouger les choses et nous entraîner dans un tourbillon extatique de chair et de son, sans aucune prétention. Soyez vous-même, restez cool et profitez du voyage.

The Velasquez brothers - Jonathan, vocals and guitar + Eddie, drums - created their first band, The Revolts, in 2002 in Los Angeles where they grew up. Discovered by Larry Clark who dedicated the feature film Wassup Rockers to them, they never stopped playing together and moved to Paris in 2014. After battling under different formations, they now return to the original punk rock/blues emerging from the music that motivated them: pure rock & roll, street punk and west coast vibes, from Chuck Berry to The Misfit’s.
Their new band was born in the spring of 2021 and integrated a French bass player, Stéphane. Los Picos Chicos are now ready to take the stage to shake things up and take us into an ecstatic whirlwind of flesh and sound, without any pretension. Be yourself, be cool and enjoy the ride Lire la suite
